Welcome Back to VIZ Wednesday, November 7, 2007 With long deliberation I have decided to resign my position at the AMP Agency and stay at VIZ Media and continue living in San Francisco. While AMP is a great company I found that VIZ is the type of work I want to do and am good at. It also doesn't hurt that I get to stay in San Francisco. There are so many awesome things yet to accomplish and build at VIZ and I truly believe big things are just around the corner. It is an amazing company with great people and we are breaking new ground in Japanese content distribution.
Staying in the bay area is a huge bonus. I get to enjoy my work and be in the heart of all my personal interests in a city that lives and breathes on the cutting edge of technology, new media and emerging consumer habits. Most of the podcasts and websites I frequent are created here in San Francisco such as This Week in Tech, Macbreak Weekly and more.
So, what is coming next for me? A few big projects. First, I am going to begin my martial arts community and build a core group dedicated to training. Next, I am going to launch two new websites accompanied by podcasts. More to come on that.
